Looking Ahead | Grad School & More!

Hello friends!

The last few months of my senior year have been action-packed! I gave my senior recital at the Peabody Conservatory on March 26; it featured staples of the saxophone repertoire and a fantastic piece by composer Michael Djupstrom. Check out videos of my performance on YouTube!

Just a week after that recital, I brought back an excerpt of Andrew Boss's Saxophone Concerto for a performance with Symphony Number One at Baltimore's Light City Festival. It was pretty cold and windy at the Harbor East stage, but we had a blast with a faithful and energetic audience!

I'm looking forward to performing Gregory Wanamaker's Duo Sonata, a high-octane musical work for alto saxophone and clarinet, with clarinetist Melissa Lander, for a fundraiser at The Centre Club in Baltimore. The event will help raise funds for Symphony Number One's Season Finale concerts on May 6 & 7. Check us out, it's going to be a great show!

Now that my senior year at the Peabody Conservatory is coming to a close, it's time to look ahead to the next big adventure—grad school!

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be pursuing a Masters Degree in Saxophone Performance with with world-renowned saxophonist Timothy McAllister at the University of Michigan. Go Blue!

I've had an incredible four years in Baltimore. Cheers to the next two and beyond!
